Grease Fittings for Gimble Bearing-470mercruiser

Can you tell I'm new at this? Are the grease fittings for the Gimble Bearing the ones that are visible on the outdrive-back of the boat? Any grease fittings anywhere else other than the out-drive, trailer of course, that need regular attention?

Get the Mercruiser service manuals for your particular engine and outdrive, it will show all the lube points.<br /><br />

great picture post DonS. BMC, your trailer wheels should have grease fittings on the outside, in the middle of the spindle. A good marine water resistant grease should be used here.

Thanks, I do have the service manuals, your picture seems to be pretty acurate to my boat, I have buddy bearings on the trailer wheels-so I'm good there.

the upper and lower zerks have been eliminated on later models.A & D
