You didnt specify the model but 90 weight would be proper for most if not all 60 Elgins.

Thanks once again Spike<br />I put 90 wt. outboard in but it wouldn't accept much.<br />So I got to thinking it might have solidified grease in lower unit.<br /><br />Still am working without manual. Ha<br /><br />Tkanks agn.<br />willie<br />
