I figured it would be a lot easier than putting the boat back on the trailer just to shoot some grease in the fittings. my grease gun has a long enough hose on it to be able to connect to the zerks without getting the gun itself in the water.

i think at least with the gimble bearing you would push in some small but deadly amount of water in with the grease<br /><br />tommays
