Some advise greasing the gimbal and U-joint every other year, but isn't hours of operation the criteria? One owner logs 15 hrs/yr, while another logs 215 hrs.
I grease both of these items while I have my drive off every year. If you are putting more than 100 hours on your drive, I would consider doing this twice a year.
