What is the best material to replace the tops in my 1973 12ft. gregor? They have been patched forever and it's time to replace.
Thank You,
David

Re: gregor seat tops

rareheir, you can buy marine fabric at a number of places online. You can also get it at your local fabric store, or marina. If you're price shopping, take your time. There is a great variety to be found in the prices. Likewise, if you shop around, you can find someone to sew it for you, or you can do it yourself. I took weeks to find the right person, and settled in on 15 dollars/hour. That's cheaper than I even work for, so I figure that I found the right person. Good luck.

I am new here, but I am going to use 3/8 white cutting board from Tap Plastic. If anyone knows of a reason not to use it, Please let me know. Cost around $10 Sq foot.
Al
