I have an 1986 75hp suzuki outbaord, oil injected in line 3. Sunday morning first shift into reverse no problem, a fews minutes later tried again and on ly got a gear clash grinding noise...any suggestions? is there an adjustement to the shift cable? Forward gear is fine and has plenty of power at cruise speed. This is a new unit for me and I am learning. It had not been used in 5-6 years..already went throgh carbs cleaned out to make it run. seems like a strong runner only look at key and it starts.
