guardian mode, low water pressure after replacing impeller

hey all, 2011 merc 6.0 goes into guardian mode and reduced power under heavy load, i watch the pressure drop on my scan tool until it goes into guardian mode. at idle and cruising speed the pressure is up around 6-8psi, but at full throttle or 3/4 throttle it drops, never to 0 but around 2.5psi.
i replaced the impeller but not the housing cause it looked fine and replaced as part of maintenance. not need.
i am pulling the drive again today and replacing the whole assembly. hopefully this resolve the problem.
it kills me, no good dead goes unpunished.

Temp is going higher than it had in the past. Over 180 and manifold temp is up around 195+

low water pressure and high temps are a sign of a water restriction, You dont list a drive but mentioning a impeller in the drive is either a alpha1 or gen II.

A 2011 V8 (6.0 might be 6.2) , got a serial number?

split the drive and installed a complete impeller with housing, issue resolved. i have never had this problem before, housing was in prefect condition,. i cant believe its resolved, but very happy it is
