Guns On Boats?

Who all is packing while out on their boats? I'm more or less a gun nut so I'm all for it. In my opinion if you feel comfortable with them and know how to use them safely I don't see any reason not to have one. For those who disagree lets here your side. For those who do pack heat on the water what is your personal choice?
