Re: hairline spider cracks
Interesting product, but it left me with some unanswered questions.
1. They didn't show any finished repairs, there was a quick glance at what they called a crack repair, but I had to stop the video myself to get more than a split-second look at it. What I saw when I stopped it was a bunch of less noticeable cracks??? What does a repair really look like?
2. What did Nano technology have to do with it?
3. What makes this a structural repair?
4. The chip repair product appeared to leave an uneven lump of white, not that cosmetically appealing. Again, show me the finished repair.
This seems similar to filling the gap with a high strength caulking/adhesive type product that is sort of close in color and somewhat flexible.
I can see it being used so you can achieve that "looks good from a distance", arms length for those that don't look close, type of repair. But I wouldn't really call it a repair, more of a cover-up that makes a bad spot a little less noticeable, at least for a while.
