Again, thanks everyone for the well wishes.<br /><br />Was a good day. All my family was together again, only under better circumstances this time.<br /><br />All my kids and grandkids were there at a little get together they had for me.<br /><br />And some of the stuff on the do you remember post, I told my grandkids and they kinda looked at me strange, and asked, papaw, what's a 8 track?<br /><br />So when we got ready to leave, I got one out of the truck and showed it to them, there were amazed that sound came out of that thing as they called it.<br />And yes, I do have an 8 track player in my truck.<br /><br />LadyFish, I don't have a 1953 calendar here, but I think I remember my mother saying I was born around 5:30am on a Saturday.<br /><br />EDIT: LF, I stand corrected.<br />After searching, I found out the 31st. was on a Friday.
