Check the gauge and the angle of the nailset. Most commercial framing nailers (Bosch, Porter Cable, etc) run from 18? to 22? and nails are available at any box store.

HF sells the nails right at their store and are color coded for the guns they fit. I have a HF finish/brad nailer and it works fantastic.

I have one, I buy my nails for it at Home Depot or Lowes, I have had mine for about 3 years now and have used it for standard nails as well as galvanized nails, no complaints from me.

I have one, and it works great. Don't know if it's the same as the one you linked, the link shows no longer available.
Sooooo much easier and faster than manual nailing. Used mine to assemble my 'boat port' addition on the garage.

I have one with adjustable angles. I think the first two shoot full headed nails. The steepest angle only shoots half headed nails.

It works perfectly. Keep it oiled each time you use it.

Also make sure you get one that shoots full headed nails. Some building codes will not accept the half headed nails.

As an update to the angle of the nails, it doesn't have to be exact. If the gun shoots 21? nails, the 20? to 22? will work just fine.

+1 on the full head nails. Don't get the clipped head nails.

for the average home owner I'm sure it will suffice fine. When I was framing for a living... I wouldn't even consider anything but senco.;) of course my nailer's will probably be passed down to my children's children too.

Senco is all my Dad ever used, he was a general contractor, I myself have quite a few paslode tools and I like them quite well, but for the amount of work I do now, the HF framing nailer works just fine..

My favorite is the 15/16 crown stapler I have, man you can beat the crap out of that thing and it just keeps on going..
