Ok, just got this boat and took it out yesterday for the first time.

It is a 18' ebbtide dyna trak 179 bass boat.

It is powered by a 150 Mag2 Mariner on a jack plate.

It will come up on plane with n/p, but after it does, it feels like it wants to pull to the right.
Upon more thottle, it does and gets worse the more you trim it.

The boat runs out at about 62 but it has this strange pulling to the right problem.

Is this the trim tab adjusted wrong?

Any other ideas?

I have not adjusted the jack plate any. Just left it where they had it set cause I figure they had it set to run right.
Thanks.

Re: Hard pulling to right

Sounds like the tab to me. It was the same way on my rig, and 1/8 inch of a turn in the direction it wanted to pull to fixed it right up. You have to adjust in tiny movements, it doesn't take much to fix it.

Thanks Jason, but after closer inspection, they have removed this one to accomadate the quicksilver 24P prop.
It would hit it I would say.
