hard start after motor tilt

1991 Evinrude 150 Ocean runner E150EXETG every time i tilt my motor i then have a hard time starting my motor afterward. A shot of starting fluid then it will start right up. I can let it sit for months without tilting and the motor will start on the first try. any ideas??

Carb engine ? the float is being tipped over. To allow fuel in carburetor to drain into the engine

no sir after i lower the motor its a hard start. after it starts then it will start every time until i tilt it again

problem started November...i serviced the motor for the summer a couple months ago and it did it then. went out this weekend and did it again

Check carb bowls for 2 stroke oil and report back.

You do reprime the carbs after tilt down, right? Alot of carbs leak when tilted up.

if you mean pump up the primer bulb yes
