Hard Start, WOT low Rpm, Blown 20A fuse

I have 1998 75HP Mercury. I had it out a few weeks ago and it ran great, started right up, WOT 5300 Etc…Took the boat out this weekend and had a hard time starting it. After getting it started, it kept bogging out. Finally let it idle for a few and got underway, only problem was WOT only 4200RPM? Then when I turned the engine off, it would not restart. I had blown the 20A fuse. Could they all be related? Any suggestions? Where do I start?

A blown fuse means a short somewhere. I suggest you start with ground wires, ie clean tight battery connections.<br /><br />As for the loss in RPM, boat full of water?<br />Poor fuel, lack of fuel.<br /><br />TMD
