I have to lift the idle speed lever all the way up and tap the choke when the motor is cold. Once it fires, it runs ok. Runs great in all rpm ranges and idles ok. When I shut it off , I have to lift the idle speed lever to fire it up, even when it's hot. It's a bit easier to start but not much. Any ideas where to start looking would be appreciated.

Are you running this on a 6 gallon fuel tank, or a built-in tank? If you prime the fuel hose bulb prior to starting each time does it make a difference in start times?
