i have an evnrude 9.5 thats hard to start (10 pulls)when cold 1ns it warms up it starts well (2 pulls)but has a miss.i took the flywheel off and found that the point assembly plate was wore out and had a ton of play in it.when i moved the plate side to side i could see the point gap changing and almost closing. i have a doner engine that i am going to use the plate from.i am going to install new points and plug wires. but i want to know could this be my problem for hard starting ?i am asking because i want to know if there is anything else i should check before i put it all back together. my mix is 50:1
