2000 ? johnson outbd 130 hp very hard to start initially when been sitting for week once running will start every time even if sits over nite the fuel ball is pumped hard

More details required.----Is this motor new to you ?--Have you read an owners manual ?---These motors should start up almost instantly if in good condition.----What is your cold start procedure ?----Important to answer question in order to get help.

The motor is same year2000 i squeeze the fuel bulb solid and use the choke when turning key live in Fayetteville nc i hold key in whe turnig over and i use the fast idle handle

^ that is very important to do !! if not you " could " easily crank it til the battery was dead!

I hold the key when starting and use the fast idle handle when cold starting

It could be your battery is losing charge.
Disconnect it next time and see if its ok.
Or connect up a multimeter and see if its drawing down- disconnect one batt cable and connect a multimeter between it and the battery and measure if theres any current with everything off

Tested battery. Its good and no dtaw on the circuit it turns over good just takrs forever to start almost runs battery. Down before it starts

Haven't. Had time to work with it yet mother had surgery helping take care of her will let you know as soon as i can

It was oil gas mix but seemed to a little heavy on the oil when it started it smoked bad but did clear up after awhile
