Has anyone installed a trim sender on a 93 mercury?

I currently do not have a trim gauge and was thinking about adding one.. from what I can see it looks like I have the space and holes to add a trim sender. Has anyone ever done this?
93 mercury 90hp. 3 cylinder

Not on a 93 but on a 87 which is the same motor. You just need the sender and should have wiring at the motor. There are two bullet connectors right around the starter. I believe purple and brown but don't remember off-hand. Very straight forward, but i will tell you...i seldom look at it now. Once underway you trim the motor based on conditions, speed and load. I thought it would be cool to have but...meh.
