Does anybody sell just the gasket for a deck access hatch or do you have to buy a whole new door?? Or does anybody recommend a gasket material substitute... Thank you!

I’m curious about a fix if you find one. heres my story.

Large hatch in the front deck area 4 foot by 2 foot. Every bit of water that lands inside the boat up front passes this hatch which drains into the large storage compartment as a result the hatch is only useful for water proofed items which sucks because its perfect for end of the day clothes. And dry bags are a start but I’m looking for a full on fix.

What has been done a larger drain in the actual compartment seems to be the big aid its giving water a place to go. Stuff still gets wet but at least its not a swimming pool

Problems that you may battle. A weather strip that seals into the groove will only reduce water because it will still funnel water into any places that are not sealing and my area is to large to achieve a water tight seal.

I’m looking for a T style weather strip that could be glued to the sides of the cover and get it to seal over the top of the gap but I have not found one the right size and style it also needs to be strong so walking and dragging gear over it wont rip it or pull it loose. And it needs to pull in tight so it doesn’t have a big edge or lip?
