I live less than a mile from the boat ramp and didnt tie down the rear of my last boat. It was a 22' bayliner. I was traveling to the ramp with my neighbor and he didnt think my truck pulled the boat very well. I then punched the throttle to show him it had plenty of power. Doh!!!!!!
next thing I knew, the boat was not behind me any longer LOL Amazingly I just backed the trailer into the boat and he winched at the same time and we got it back on the trailer and continued to go fishing. No real damage except wearing down the keel about 1/2 inch and leaving a 100ft fiberglass skid mark on the road. I figure the winch hook came loose.

http://us.f2.yahoofs.com/users/41c67279z2f325acd/c1f9/__sr_/4095.jpg?phapc2BBTRdLQ2YY
