Have you heard of this type of boat?

I have my Grandfathers boat that he bought new back in 1969. I'd like to learn more about it but I can't find Any info online. I have searched these forums and nothing has come up. He bought it in Peekskill NY. I have the dealers name but they must have gone out of business. It is a 1969 16' Amfab Skisport Trihull with a closed bow. It has served him well but is now in need of a paint job. <br /><br />There is one Amfab company that comes up but they make gas station islands. I think.

Thanks for the response. I wonder if The AMfab was considered an alright boat as far as construction. I haven't seen any Amfabs in the classified sections of the different sites. I don't know if it's worth putting time and money into. It would mainly be for sentimental reasons. I'd like to find the name of the original paint color but that's probably impossible. (The boat was all red but with a glitter or metal flake on the top.)
