Haven't been in the water yet this year!

It has rained 56 out of the last 60 days. Had boat ready to go out 6 weeks ago. Either it was raining or something always came up on the weekend. This weekend looked great! I put the earmuffs on in the driveway and started my boat. Started up and runs fine. While checking the outdrive while running. I noticed no water coming out of the exhaust ports and my temp guage rising. I know I had the water turned on hard enough.
This morning I pulled the gearcase off the outdrive. Impeller was in peices. Seems I spend weekends working on my boat. Wish I could drive it sometime!:facepalm:

Ha - I see you are in Ohio too. Yeah, spring time was so rainy. I buffed my boat in a light rain. Crazy spring. Well, impeller is easy to change, and looks like you'll have to just plan a day for boating -- no interruptions.

I have a different problem. I hustled to get my boat in the dock on May 15th. I got two runs on the lake then broke my leg on Memorial Day. Needed surgery and all. Now, it looks like August is the earliest I'll be walking again, we'll see if I'm up for boating. Maybe some late August and September runs, then back into storage. Frustrating boating year for me.....

Calvin, I hope to have my boat out on lake Erie in a couple of weeks. Your welcome aboard for some walleye and perch fishing!
