1) Performance issue you are trying to correct.
Previous owner had the boat proped low because he was a skier and i think it's too low. The boat only does 35 before red line on the tacometer. I would prefer a better top speed while still being able to get out of the hole pretty decent.

2) Current prop manufacturer, model, aluminum or stainless and as a minimum.
Michigan, Not sure of model, painted aluminum.

3) Current prop diameter and pitch (required).
not sure of the diameter but previous owner said it's a 17 pitch

4) Wide open throttle RPM and speed with an average load (very helpful)
During my test run (boat had been sitting a while still trying to work all the bugs out) I could only use full throttle to get out of the hole then had to back it off once on plane to avoid over revving it. Boat did 34-36 mph

5) Engine/drive make, model, year, and HP
1993 Volvo Penta 4.3l with 2 barrel carb. Not sure of exact horse power. Lower unit is factory mate to the motor. (SP series)

6) Boat make model, year, length and weight
1993 Glastron SSV 195. 19' 5"

Looking around online I've learned that i need an aquamatic short hub prop. But do not know whether i need the 200, 250, or 275. I'm also unsure of the diameter and pitch i should use. Would be very helpful if someone with the same boat could tell me what their running and where they got the prop (if ever replaced)

Also cheapest places to shop for a prop???

Thank you.

Re: Having trouble finding a prop online. Too many variables.

You can measure the diameter of the existing prop with a ruler. For three blade props measure from the tip of one blade to the very center of the prop shaft and multiply by 2. For four blades measure across two opposite blade tips. The best place to buy props is right here on iBoats. Go here, key in your year make and model of engine/outdrive and you will be presented with the list of props.

Yeah this site seems to be the cheapest i've found so far online. What are the number 200, 250, and 270 referring too? They are the only things i need to figure out before i order.
