Did you try giving it some throttle while cranking?

Never run an engine with a carb on it before have you ?

Yes you need to give it some throttle, and you may need to pump the throttle a time or two to prime the carb and set the choke and move the throttle up to 1/2 or 1/4 to start, and may have to play with the throttle and keep the rpms up to 1000 to 1300 to keep it running till it warms up a bit. May also need a complete tuneup, dwell and timing set, carb adjustment and all that maintenance stuff.

Sounds like She's only hitting about 2 cyls. Could be simple as in not getting gas or more severe like stuck valves and bent pushrods, time for some diagnostic tests, ignition timing, the way the starter is laboring.

Re: Having trouble getting OMC Cobra running

Well the one thing I have noticed is when im turning it over the battery terminals get quite hot. Also I have pulled the plugs and you can tell that all the cylinders are firing. But heres the weird thing. I just took that video an hour ago, now when I went out to try and start it again to give it some gas while trying to start it doesn't fire at all. It's been doing this for the past 2 days its very intermittent when it wants to fire and when it doesn't.

Pour about a shot glass of gas into the carb, put the flame arrestor back on, and try to start it. May take a couple of times to get fuel pumped up to the carb again.

Ayuh,.. They're probably corroded...
Corrosion equals resistence,...
Resistence equals Heat...
