I am replacing the head gasket on my 97 90hp 2-stroke johnson, does anyone know the torque setting? Also I was thinking of putting durma-seal on it is there a special kind for marine salt water use?

Re: head gasket

Torque it to 216 to 240 inch pounds or 18 to 20 foot pounds. Sequence is important, so torque it as follows. No need for anything on the gaskets, install dry.
