Height above transom of new Yamaha 4 stroke 70 hp?

I'm going to have a new 4 stroke 70 hp motor put on my boat. I need to know how high the top of the motor is above the transom. I'm going to have a board accross the back of the boat with rod holders mounted on it and I want it to be higher than the top of the motor.

I think you will have to wait until the engine is mounted to install your board, this will also give you a chance to trim the engine up and down and make sure you rod holders clear the new engine.

All boats are a little different and the height on one boat may be different than another so I think it is best to wait so you can fit it to what your boat has.
