It is, ummm, interesting. I'm not really sure I understand the purpose of the helicopter body strapped to the cat-hull. Seems like a regular catamaran would be just as effective in rough water, and would have a lower CG due to not being seated 6' above the water.

That was my observation as well.

One of my customers was working on this project and I saw it being built awhile back. Neat boat, but what do you do with it?

That's kinda' where I got ... particularly when I saw the price tag.

Though, even with the looney helo cockpit it seems really stable. At speed it looks as though the thing cuts the water down and still keeps the passengers dry. Kept waiting for the wings/rotors to come out and just get to flyin'.
