Hello im new here and was wondering on a few things. Please be patient with me im very computer illiterate and new to this. : )
I just bought a 20 foot fishing boat here in Hawaii and its pretty cherry! I have a single 115 hp 4 stroke with a single battery. I know this question probably was answered in here a million times but ive searched google and i got more confused than ever. Which led to this forum.
So my question was i want to put two batteries in the boat, one to start and the other for accessories such as lights, stereo, etc. I saw all different types of ways to rig it all over the net but better i ask the pros. If someone could post some wiring diagrams i really would appreciate it.

- thinking about using that combo kit from west marine i think there is a 4 way switch with a vsr or acr? (looked pretty good) didnt want to buy a nd not know how it functions?

-be using the boat for mostly diving and night time bottom fishing

- a second battery could be useful when bottom fishing because lights and all the electronics would be in use with the boat off.

- also when diving someone may use the radio or gps fishfinder while in the water why idk.

- sorry right now there is a fat positive and a fat neg going to the battery, also there is another positive wire coming from the switch panel from the front of the boat.
