Just wanted to stop by and say hi. Im a new member but have been reading this site for a couple of years. There is so much usefull info here. I have a 1989 celebrity 181 with the 175 4.3 merc. Im thinking of doing the vortec head performer manifold and eldebrock four barell conversion before this season. Now let me explain that I am already propped right and I am not looking for anymore the MAYBE 200 hp. I know that dosent seem like much of a gain but its worth it to me. I just wanted to get any info anyone would care to share. I know this topic gets tossed around alot and I have been through every thread on the internet but found most were involving cam changes. I do not intend to change my cam and of course will comp test the motor before hand. Just wondering if there was anything I was missing and wanted to introduce myself.
