I was born and raised not to far from you and know exactly what you mean. We moved to Texas in May '79 it was one of the coldest winters I remember. It got to 48 below zero that January and never got above -35 the entire month of February. I much prefer 10 months of summer vs 10 months of winter. :cool:

LOL<br />I actually prefer this climate even after living in SoCal. for 10+yrs. less folks at the fishing holes each and every year round here<br /> :D <br />on the port of Galveston sounds aweful nice too!<br />regards,<br />M.Y.

As much as i enjoy the summer year round here in Texas, I do wish we could hold off on the 100+ weather for another couple of months, but its already here, and people are dying of heat stroke like crazy here
