Hello to all,

New guy here, thought it looked like a nice place so i thought I'd sign up. I have some background in Merc outboards, and a pretty good handle on tin boat building, restoration and general ownership. I'm also a permitted fishing guide in the state of California with a primary focus on Steelhead and Cuthroat trout.

I've always had a quest for aquiring knowledge and sharing that with others. After lurking for a while I discovered iBoats and found it to be the one forum that was not just quite active but also full of good info.

Hope you all don't mind if I hang out for a while, I'll try to contribute if and when I can confidently do so.
