help 1973 115 v4 dies when put into gear

help i am at a loss runs fine at neuteral can rev it it idles put into gear dies instantly if i hold the warm up lever up drop it shift fast and goose it it ok runs alright drop it back into neuteral go to put into gear dies so far i have put in a in line filter cleand the bowls ,needles, seats checked the prop for fishing line ect. help

Idling to slow or low speed jets in the carbs need cleaning and/or Link&Sync needs to be performed. You need a service manual for that specific engine to perform Link&Sync. It is far too long a procedure to type here and you likely need the pictures to explain what things are.

how do i clean the low speed jets this thing ran fine then all of the sudden this what is a link&sync

carbs are clean very very clean lines are fine fresh gas spark??

When you were in the carbs did you remove all the jets for a visual inspection of them? Follow Silvertip's suggestions. You can get a factory service manual for your exact outboard from outboardbooks.com, or call Ken Cook co., in Milwaukee.

good to see you again emdsapmgr yes i saw them i really cant buy a book right now. strange thing yesterday it kept running at idle after comeing off plane then it ran bad good bad good untill it died when i put it into neuteral
