After restoring this old runabout I purchased, I decided to take it to the shop to have a little restoration done on the E70ELCOS also. At that time it started at the touch of the key and ran smooth as silk hooked up to the hose.
However, since it hadn't been in the water in five years, I thought it would be smart to have them re-seal the lower unit, replace the thermostat and water pump, re-build the carburetors and fuel pump, and replace the rectifier, coils and power pack ... which they did, and now it will not start!! They say it's getting fuel and good spark ... and are at a lose as to why.
I would greatly appreciate any ideas you might have as to the most likely cause(s).
