I’ve visited these forums often for some pointers and help. I’m having an issue I hope I can get some feedback on.

I was taking the boat out for the first time this year, all the checks went well and engine was running perfectly. Hooked it up to my truck and went to trim the motor up for the drive. Nothing. The trim worked about a week earlier. Checked the breakers, connections and everything tested good. Replaced the tilt motor (still doesn’t work) and now my engine starts up and dies immediately. I did not touch anything that has to do with the fuel, carb or anything else.

Has anybody else ran into these problems before? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

welcome aboard

start by cleaning your battery cable connections from the battery to the starter and the battery to the block. then work your way up to the ignition switch making sure the connections are clean and shiny
