So, it starts fine and you let it warm up at around 1000 rpm for a couple min. You have a good fuel supply going into the carbs. You have good spark going to all cylinders. The shop it just came from test ran it and told you all is well, correct?
You may have to set the idle up a little. If you don't know how, just ask and someone will chime in.

With the hood off standing on the starboard side of the engine find the (throttle link connector) at the bottom of the tower shaft, that's the adjustable rod about three inches long with the round ends that snap into place on the (tower shaft), and to the (throttle cam) to advance the throttles on the carbs.
Look under the throttle link connector at the bottom of the tower shaft down in the cowling above the throttlle cable, (not the top of the tower shaft under the flywheel that is the timing screw (stay away).
The idle adjustment screw is towards the bottom of the tower shaft and is black and hard to see at first. It's about 2 inches above the (throttle cable), there's a flat head screw with a nut backed up to the head of the screw next to the engine block.
Mark it's location in case you need to put it back where you started.
Loosen the screw and nut with a flat screw driver and a wrench, turn it a just a little to the right (clockwise) then retighten the nut, this will increase the idle. You may need to adjust it a couple times to get it right, engine should idle around 900 rpm. Good Luck! max!
