i just rebuilt my seat box for my back to back seats. i built them out of plywood and covered them with epoxy resin. i plan on paintng them soon with rustoleum oil based paint. but when i made them i did a bad job of filling the countersunk screw holes so i see some indents where the screws are. is there any car bondo type product i can fill and sand before i paint to get rid of them or should i just keeplayering with epoxy resin(which is expensive)

A small amount of epoxy resin and some micro balloons makes low cost filler.

3M Marine Filler would work.

Regular bondo will work or better yet go to wall mart and get the green stick epoxy.

I agree with using epoxy for the dents..

But remember that with fillers before paint you really should let the filler Post cure ( Cure Real good ) before painting.

Basically dont just start sanding it fair when its hard enough..let it sit for a few days until it does its cure thing.

Thats one reason you see bullet holes from peeps sanding and painting ( or even gelcoating ) too soon.

YD.
