Hi there,
We are lease partners on a boat and received a call today that the windshield (walk-through) was broken upon removing the cover. I know 100% that it was not broken when we put the boat away last Sunday as I closed the window (gently) myself and noticed no cracks.
Any idea how this could happen? See attached photo.
We can find no evidence of impact on the cover or object inside the boat. Could it have just been weak and shattered from heat cycling? The people we are sharing the boat with (who own it) are incredibly nice, so its really terrible that this happened in this way as we know it was fine when we put it away, yet when they opened it up it was broken.
Any help and shared experience on this is much appreciated. Thanks!
