I broke the hydraulic line that connects to my trim motor for the lift function.
I tried to track it back to where it connects to the outdrive, but can't get to it due to the inboard motor.
Can I access this line from outside the boat?
If I disconnect the portion under the outdrive where the 4 lines that connect to the cylinders are, can I access
the two inner connections that run to the pump?

no, but with an 18.5 I'm assuming its a 3.0, plenty of room to get back there and replace the lines.

Ever tried it? You couldn't change those lines if the engine was removed.

There is a small manifold that the trim cylinder hose mount onto under the transom shield. Remove the mainfold and pull it down to access the hose connections. You will need a new gasket.

And tie a cord or wire to the hose or you will NEVER get it back there without pulling the engine.
