HELP!?! cannot find info on a Sun Runner!

Hello all! I have recently purchased a 1986 Sun Runner 230 SB from a garage sale for next to nothing. the previous owner was in mid restoration when he passed away and I am now stuck with the job of completing it! i have tried everywhere to find any kind of information on the boat IE wiring schematics or even a place to aquire replacement parts not pertaining to the Mercruiser engine. If anyone knows where i could find these schematics or realy anything that wuld help with the restoration, i would really apperciate it!! Thanks!!

You likely won't find any Sun Runner specific wiring diagrams. What parts/pieces are you looking for? Finding OEM parts for a 1986 boat is going to prove challenging, unless you find a salvage place that has one...

Sun Runner is out of business (right.). Anyway, you may be saved by the fact that many parts are generic and can be sourced with same or equivalent parts in the general market. Schematics are always hard to come by . . .. Not all boat companies provided them and if they did may not have been preserved by previous owners, etc. I am wondering if there is a Sun Runner owner's forum ?

My last boat was a Sunrunner. They went out of business in the late 80's or very early 90's. They were made in the town I live in (Spokane). You will not find parts for them other than a donor boat. Boat schematics are mostly generic so wire it up how you wish. The only thing that is specific is the engine wiring.
