Help! Can't turn off engine 150 BlackMax

I have a 93 150 BlackMax and the only way I can get my engine to turn off is to choke it to death. I tried replacing the ignition switch but that didn't work. When I pull the kill switch the engine still runs! I am thinking its a bad ground wire somewhere on the engine but I have no idea where to look. Any ideas?

I am not sure but I think the mecury switch, which is connected to the switchboxes via the black/yellow wires, is what grounds out the switchboxes when you turn your key switch to the off position. Check the to make sure you have good connections at the black/yellow terminals on the switch box. Test the mercury switch as well (if you can).<br /><br />Hopefully the pros can help you here.
