Hi...<br /><br />New(and green) boat owner. We just bought a 16' SeaKing with a Chrysler 45 HP outboard....the previous owner was a hardcore fisherman and never bothered to properly install an ignition switch for the motor.........although I must say he took great care of the boat and motor.<br /><br />We are in desperate need of help, we have installed a regular ignition(key type) onto this boat, however, when we attempt to turn the motor off, the gas continues to feed and we have to open the cover and hand choke it to kill the engine.......<br /><br />This may be a very elementary question, but what else to we need to be able to just turn the motor off, when we want to stop, dock or whatever....<br /><br />Thanks in advance for your advice,......<br /><br />"Feeling Blonde"
