Help Finding 1998 Mercury 115 2-Stroke Service Manual

Hello All,

I recently purchased a 1998 Nitro 185 SF as a project and it came with a Mercury Tracker Outboard s/n 0G691279. I am looking for a service manual (for the motor) possibly in pdf form.

I managed to purchase a pdf manual online but it was not the correct one although the motors looked identical.

ebay has them. Just bought a reprint in a (green) binder...professional quality...new....priced right. It covers my 2002 115 and backs up to 1994 covering all the L3 and L4 engines.

The ebay unit is OEM and lists most things by serial number series. That's pretty authentic I'd say!

No. Fixing this and that but the basic engine is a sure thing. What's your question?

Just wondering. Currently I have zero compression on cylinder #3. So working on taking the power head apart to inspect.
