Help Finding Muffs

I Have A 1992 Johnson 28 Hp And Need Muffs So I Can Flush Motor .
Regular Style Muffs Will Not Work Because Water Intake Is Located On Back Of Motor Above The Prop. I Tried Local Dealer He Said Brp No Longer Make Muffer For That Motor . Thanks For Your Help

A 92? that has that type of pickup. My 58 does, but I thought fairly new could run muffs. New to me

The 28 Hp Do Not Have Thur Hub Exhaust From 1986-1996 So Regular Muffs Will Not Work .

Another thing I noticed is it was not quite your year but you might call the parts dept. and see if it'll work.

Try doing a web search for "motor flusher" and similar terms. I found a place that had a bunch of NOS (I think) motor flushers that were not the conventional muffs type for more unusual applications. Some of them were labeled for John/evi motors - I didn't pay much attention because I was looking for something for my old Merc 110/9.8 hp (water intake is on bottom side of AV plate, muff would have to fit between AV plate and prop.... I'll continue to use the garbage can!).

maybe it was an ebay store. Sorry I can't be more specific.
