Hey there everyone i have been trying to find out what year my engine is .Its an inline 6 cylinder 90HP MERC its black with blue and chrome stripes on the cowl..ive done a lot of researching on this site and saw your links to decoding serial #'s but when i checked out my OB the other day i noticed that the tag that i belived to hold the serial # had eaten away with the salt water i last used it in ..this tag was on the power trim unit is there anywhere else that i might find the serial # stamped on the engine?
