Help Help Help My boat sank how to save my outboard

HI, Thanks for reading.
I Left for 2 days came back to find my boat completely under water. I was able to put it afloat. but now what do I have to do with the outboard.
1- I took the spark plugs out and sprayed a lot of Deep Creep in it. sprayed the carbs. Am I doing the right thing or what else can I do to save my outboard. Thanks Thanks Thanks

AJ I am not sure however, salt water or freshwater makes a huge differance. Specify for your guidance!!

Followed the procedure and The outboard started it now runs like nothing happened.

Keep an eye on it! Watch those electrics and connections. Great to hear it is running! With the wierd storms we have been having up here in NE I am not surprised.
