I have a Mercury Mercruiser Alpha One Gen II out drive and I am replacing the lower unit. I have removed all five bolts that I can see and the thing won't budge. I have also removed the speedometer tube. Please advise. Thanks.
Your missing one bolt. You have to remove the trim anode in the rear. Their is a bolt under it.<br /> Drive Remove the plug (item 8) you will see the bolt to remove the trim anode. After its removed you will see the bolt that was under it.
