Help ID part located at bottom of transom on Hydro sport 260

I removed what I thought was an old fish finder transducer from the bottom stern of my bass boat. But the part had a vacuum hose connected that went up to the console. It was not an electric cable as I had thought. Any idea as to what I removed?

You took off the pitot pickup for the speedo.
