Very cool looking boat, with a bizarre hull. It wasn't a v, it was almost a trihull but it looked like it'd haul ***! The fuel filler was from a 68 Charger!

That's a Chrysler shallow Vee. It has quite a following among the Chrysler Crew--Chrysler outboard and boat enthusiasts. Buy it cheap and restore it and in addition to getting many looks at the ramp, you may actually be able to sell it at a profit. If I were up your way I would seriously consider buying it myself.

Ayuh,.... Definitely qualifies as a "Classic" hull...

Could be a money maker at a Show someday....

That boat is gorgeous... I wonder what size and HP rating....I love the cool blue windshield. The BEST part is ...it takes an outboard !

It is up around 17-18 feet long and rated for somewhere around 105-120. The 105 was Chrysler's basic "big" engine and was found on a lot of hulls.

I am not certain, but I believe the hull was called "Charger" thus the Dodge Charger gas cap. But Chrysler marine division used the name Charger on a lot of engines and boats. They also had a Valiant and a couple of other names borrowed from the auto division. However, most Chrysler fans know this hull as: shallow vee.

I love the blue windshield/screen. Very cool speedboat. Not my cup 'o tea, but you would definitely be the cool guy at the boat ramp. You'd probably never get it in the water for all of the looks and questions you'd get.
