Hi, everybody!

I'm a new boat owner, and new to this site. Very excited to be a part of this whole wealth of knowledge.

Last week my son and I purchased this 1958 Larson (says so on the title). We haven't found any markings on the boat itself other than "Custom" on the steering wheel. I've been looking online for a boat like this, or one similar to identify it, but no luck.

Anyone know what this might be?

We're fortunate that it doesn't need much work. The fiberglass is in great shape for a girl her age. The hull is excellent. The wiring will need to be replaced on the trailer and possibly in the boat itself. There are no weak spots on the deck and the transom is good. A good power wash, some new upholstery and a paint job. The only thing that really will need replacing is the bow hatch...Looks like a piece of laminate and looks like it just sits up there, nothing is attached to hold it down.

That is a seriously cool old hull. I'll be interested to see it all fixed up.

Re: Help identify this model?

One thing I have done in the past with my 1976 Lund and now with the '87 Crestliner is I wrote the company and asked them for any info they could send me.

If it was me I would send them a picture of your boat and year and see if they have any archives that they can send you via e-mail in PDF form.

So far both of my boats I now have the orginal brochers, and for Crestliner they even sent me a 8x10 picture my boat, a 65 year anniversery sticker as well as a very nice hat to my home, and that was totaly unexpected.

Here is the link that you should be able to get a hold of someone. Hope they can help...:D

that is seriously cool. I'd almost want to enclose the back of it and toss an a/c unit inside to make it the ultimate mini overnighter. looks like it has a lot of room inside that cabin area for the size boat.
