Help Identifying this part on outdrive...

I'm missing a part and am having a hard time identifying it... Any help would be appreciated.. While I was posting it I thought it kinda looks like a guard to protect the outdrive against the hydraulic rams...

Sorry, got excited when posting.

Its a 1986 searay with twin omc 4.3l motors and the cobra outdrives.

0911837 THRUST PLATE, Port
0911838 THRUST PLATE, Starboard
0911839 SHIM, Thrust plate, .015"

shims are used under the plates as required to tighten the clearance to the transom assembly when the drive is all the way down and reduce drive slop

all parts available at any Evinrude dealer

That's awesome. I just ordered both sides. It said that the shim was obsolete. I wonder if its not required but figured once it came in I could figure out a .015 shim with stuff I have around. This has been a huge help, Thank you for your time!

the shim is not obsolete, but if your dealer doesn't want to get it for you, there's a dozen or so in stock at marineengine.com

You can also use Sierra part 18-1713 which can be ordered here at iboats or at any NAPA auto parts store
